Don't Leave Without It!

No one wants or ever expects a problem or an accident whem they travel.

We hope you never have one but they are a part of life, nontheless.

Unfortunately, the old saying is right, "Bad things can happen to good people," often when they least expect them.

Who is immune to illness (you or someone in your family) that could cause your to have to cancel your travel or cut it short? Who is immune to an accidental fall or slip that could mean a visit to the hospital? If that hospital is in a foreign country, chances are they will demand cash payment. And there are issues like hurricanes, missed flight connections, lost passports, lost luggage, etc. Are you protected?

Travel insurance gives travelers coverage for unforeseen problems

That means for things like a cancelled flight due to a serious illness—or even a hurricane or an act of terrorism.

If an illness, accident, or other covered unforeseen circumstance forces a traveler to cancel or interrupt their plans, they face two major financial losses—money invested in nonrefundable pre-payments, and medical expenses that in many instances may not be covered by health insurance.

You insure your home, you insure your car. Shouldn't you insure your travel as well?

We offer options for protection

When our clients purchase their travel through our preferred supplier Classic Vacations, we urge including the excellent Travel Smart Plan (TSP) protection in their package if they are traveling outside the USA. If they are going to Hawaii, we suggest including Classic's Change & Cancellation Waiver with an option to upgrade to TSP if they do not have sufficient personal medical coverage. Scroll down this page to read about these two protection plans.

But what if your travel is not arranged through Classic Vacations? We offer a wide range of choices through Travel Guard, a reliable and widely respected travel insurance companies. [SEE BELOW FOR CHOICE OF COVERAGE & A QUOTE]

Remember, even if you have excellent medical insurance already, if you are traveling outside the USA, it is probably not accepted by doctors and hospitals. And foreign medical providers don't accept credit cards or personal checks. Good travel insurance will fill the gap.

PROTECT YOURSELF

Do you think you are fully covered already by your credit card?

If you believe your credit card already protects you and don't need to purchase travel insurance, make sure you have a thorough understanding of what your credit card covers and what it does not. Call your credit card company and ask  questions such as the following:

- Are there coverage limits for overall protection and individual benefits?

- Who is covered under the policy, is it only the primary card holder?

- Is the coverage only valid up to a certain age limit?

- Does it cover an unexpected injury or illness while traveling?

- Does it include benefits if I have to cancel my trip before I leave or if am interrupted during my trip?

- Does the coverage only apply if the trip was purchased with the credit card?

- Does it only cover certain trip durations?

- Whathe;p do you offer if my luggage is lost or a flight delay causes me to miss connections for the rest of my trip?

- If a family member has medical issues back home and I have to return early, are my costs covered?
